Summary/Abstract: A social reintegration programme is a set of activities conducted for the benefit of socially excluded, marginalised people who cannot find their place in the surrounding reality. Prisoners in correctional institutions and people addicted to psychoactive substances are most often included in such programmes. In order to help them find their place in a new reality, programmes and institutions conducting such activities are being established. This article looks at the meaning of social reintegration programmes for people addicted to drugs and alcohol.
