Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to the administrative and legal aspects of the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. The purpose of these considerations is to attempt to present the legal framework of the existing migration crisis and to formulate postulates the implementation of which may contribute to its solution. Currently, we are dealing with a kind of tug of war between the Republic of Poland and Belarus, and, unfortunately, this rope is made by people. Treating people in such a way by the Belarusian authorities is a manifestation of the so-called a hybrid war in which foreigners are treated as peculiar ammunition or a living shield. In conclusion, the above situation requires also a complex, so to speak, hybrid response, where legal, diplomatic, economic and political threads, as well as an appropriate informational narrative, will be combined. This is the only way to pass the specific stress test of the Polish state and prevent attempts at instrumental treatment of foreigners whose health and life are compromised. Whatever their legal status, they are human beings, and their care should be carried out in the spirit of humanitarianism and in accordance with the principles of international and, of course, national law. The dogmatic method was used as the leading one in the work. Due to the high dynamics of the situation at the border, it takes into account the legal status as of November 1, 2021.
