Summary/Abstract: the presented article describes the current problems and prospects for the development of the market for higher education services. The sphere of higher education as a separate type of activity has been formed quite a long time ago. The emergence of education, as a process of purposeful transfer of knowledge, is lost in ancient times. Over time, in the process of the formation and development of cultures, in addition to the imitation method of transferring knowledge, the process of education itself has also developed and taken on new modern forms. Problems arise in the evolution of modern higher education systems. The presence of some problems serves as starting points for improvement and the emergence of new educational trends.
