FORMATION OF STRATEGIC INITIATIVES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Summary/Abstract: the article describes a conceptual approach to developing a strategy for theinternationalization of higher education, which consists of a series of strategic initiatives andtargeted activities. The internationalization strategy in the field of higher education, which considersthe initiatives developed, will ensure the sustainable development of the higher education system, itsavailability, quality, relevance, efficiency and will create conditions for a transition to a new level ofquality, corresponding to national priorities, as well as the challenges and trends ofinternationalization. Applying this approach will ensure the creation of a comprehensive strategyaimed at gradually improving the priorities of the higher education system at the national andinstitutional levels in the context of internationalization. Such an approach is in line with advancedglobal trends in the field, which will allow the country to play its rightful place in integrationprocesses and therefore to move towards progressive development
