Awareness of the risk resulting from massification of the higher education and ways to dealwith it – Student perspective

Summary/Abstract: One of the key problems of higher education that Poland is currently facing is its massification. Questions about how students function in the face of the disadvantages of the massification of the higher education that affect their lives become important. The most important of them concerns what actions they take to counteract such a state. In order to answer the above questions, a qualitative study was conducted among Polish students from universities and polytechnics, in which the research method was classical free-form interview. After analyzing the research material, there are three activities that students use to prevent risks, and they are in order: gaining additional work experience, continuous training with the help of various courses and acquiring additional qualifications.
