Summary/Abstract: Access to legal information is essential to each member of the community. Public Law Library, a branch of the Municipal Library „B. P. Hasdeu,” as a public institution, by its statute, has assumed the responsability as a local distribution partner of legal information in order to develop a strong partnership with Chişinău City Hall for delivering e-services for capital’s residents. The article reveals the concept of the On-line Legal Chişinău project, funded by the Soros Foundation-Moldova under the Public Administration and Governance program. The author underlines the project activities and the content of the Monitorul de Chisinau database that will ensure free and unlimited access to legal texts issued and approved at Chi Chişinău sinau level, both currently and retrospective, being digitized starting with 1991.
