Summary/Abstract: In recent years, the social and cultural science disciplines have been caught up in an effective “cultural turn” and have made this a central point of control. It was precisely this "turning point" that steered the teaching of cultural studies in a new and exciting direction. These approaches determine the development of a dynamic concept of culture that is shaped more by differences than by similarities, in which the actors of a culture contribute to the constant development of new values, norms and beliefs instead of sharing them. The theoretical concept of culture is based more on similarities, while the pragmatic concept of culture mainly relies on the complex relationship between differences and similarities.
