Summary/Abstract: Language learning in the contemporary global village has become more than a mere necessity. Due to the constantly growing exposure to both international and incoming students, the non-teaching employees of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mureş faced the challenge of having to speak English as a foreign language. In order to improve their language proficiency skills, English language courses were organised as part of an internationalisation project.
