Summary/Abstract: In the present article I will try to demonstrate how translation can be integrated into a foreign language course as the fifth language skill, which can contribute both to the development of the students’ foreign language, with focus on students studying technical English, and to the elimination of their discomfiture when studying and making use independently of the foreign language.
