Summary/Abstract: The author of this paper tries to provide a brief overview of the practical application of the contemporary religious education program and points to possible guidelinesfor its future development in order to eliminate or reduce the difficulties in its performance. The paper explores some of these problems through the prism of social practicefrom the standpoint of the politicology of religion. The author examines the focus of theseproblems in challenging the achievement of the goals of religious instruction within theframework of the scholastic education system. Departure of folkloristic understanding ofthe religion itself, as well as openness and readiness to cooperate Religious Education incorrelation with Civic Education and other subjects is the only way to repress hatred andviolence among young people, the necessary steps towards a more tolerant multireligiousand multicultural Europe.
