Summary/Abstract: The Romanian historical space, regardless of the temporary political barriers, made it easier for scholars to get to know each other and get acquainted with the activity of their confreres. The most visible collaboration of Romanian intellectuals from all Romanian provinces was in the century of nationalities, as it was called in the 19th century. The ties between the provinces and implicitly between their personalities intensified, culminating in the period preceding the achievement of the Great Union on December 1, 1918. The desire to consolidate brought intellectuals from all provinces closer even after achieving this national goal. The interwar period offers graduates in history and arts, from Romanian university centers, the opportunity to specialize in the two Romanian academic centers in Paris and Rome, where they have the opportunity to stand out and even make friends.
