Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is the linguistic analysis of the online hate that occurs within the context of the socioeconomic crisis caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The research material consists of the online comments posted below the articles on the pandemic. From among several hundreds of instances, those whose content referred to the politicians were selected and analyzed. The selection was made according to the criteria of content, form, language, and general evaluation. As a basis of the online haters actions the author adopted the desire to discharge aggression and the dichotomous understanding of reality. The results of the research demonstrated that conspiratorial view of the world is characteristic of the haters. Their comments are full of colloquialisms and vulgarisms, and their utterances often adopt a form of insults, accusations, threats, and deprecating acts. Furthermore, the haters’ language is characterized with the use of a variety of neologisms, which mostly are negatively biased.
