Summary/Abstract: Orthodoxy consists in keeping alive and untainted teachings of Christ, received and learned from Him and their unchanged preaching over time. The fight “against principalities, owners, rulers of darkness of this age”(Ephesians 6:12), can’t be won by modern society, no matter how advanced. The only victorious and supreme allied to humanity, remains Christ, and man wins only through him. Modernity, by promoting, “false solutions”, enhances human tragedy and doesn’t offer concrete solutions. Its universality represents to modern society, confused and adrift, the landmark, the cure for spiritual healing and emerging from spiritual, moral and material crisis. Grand prize is that it doesn’t levels the consciences and is not an obstacle against personal fulfillment. Short radiography of modernity shows that the world is moving slow, but steady towards the uniformity of society members, loss of freedom and rights, human identity relativisation and even disappearance of the national identity.
