The article focuses on the contemporary mission of archivists as architects and mediators of the retrospective documentary memory of society. In this aspect, the stress is laid on the need to use more up-to-date and adequate from a scientific point of view terms in the disciplinary field of archivology, corresponding to the complicated nature of the documents in their capacity as historical sources. The author's thesis is that, in the process of filing, expertise and scientific and technical processing of the funds, before historians archivists consecutively pass through the following logical and interrelated stages: euristic, textological, hermenuetic, archaeographic and historiographic. Archival processes and activities implemented within the above-mentioned stages prove that it is precisely archivists who have the primary responsibility in the contemporary complicated world to be co-creators and translators of collective historical memory to ensure that will be an objective base for future search.

The paper aims at presenting the current state of the European initiatives for Massive Open Online Courses /MOOCs/ in Higher Education /HE/ domain. The accent is put on the prospects and challenges for the inclusion of the Bulgarian Universities in the current MOOCs movement. The purpose of the intrusion detection systems (IDS) is to reveal any violence of the organizations’ security policy – unauthorized access from outsiders, rising privileges of authorized users, violation of the confidentiality and/or integrity of system resources. The present paper presents an examination of the current IDS, based on the anomalies (behavioral analysis), where C4.5 algorithm is applied in a host-based scenario in order to describe the normal user activity, using decision tree. As a second step, a cluster analysis has been applied with purpose to classify current user activity as normal or malicious. With purpose of approving the proposed methodology, a number of simulation experiments have been applied and the obtained results have been analyzed.

To answer the question of how to prepare a scientific speech well, it is worthwhile to systematize the rules the speaker should follow concerning both the visaual and oral presentation. Visualizations and infographics make it easier to receive the paper. If they are well-used, they help both the sender and the recipient to organize the content. The text refers to the state of research on evaluation of scientific presentations at conferences, which showed that most publications cprovide guidelines, not research results. Scientists interested in this topic include linguists, psychologists, or didactics specialists who consider using new technologies in the educational process. The subject is also important to people working in new media, often from the practical side. in order to achieve the set goals, an author’s original evaluation model of conference presentation enriched with a presentation was proposed, the use of which is to be assisted by a tool - a table listing the elements that are evaluated, with proposed scores. It is a model that anyone can modify depending on the focus of their own goals. Methods used include desk research, analysis, and criticism of the literature, heuristic and deductive methods.
