RUGĂCIUNEA LA PREADOLESCENŢII ŞI ADOLESCENŢII FORMAŢI ÎNTR-UN MEDIU TEOLOGIC. STUDIU DE CAZ

The article includes the main results of a research that used the questionnaire-based survey as a method of collecting data from students aged 13-19 years, from the Orthodox Theological Seminary "Saint Simion Stefan" in Alba Iulia. The research did not include students from high school classes with a theological vocational profile and benefited from 237 responses to the questionnaire administered online. The analysis of the data shows that education in a theological environment trains students including aspects related to the pedagogy of prayer. Also, the data of our research show that through an education that values the role of personal prayer and of common prayer in the church, the differences according to gender in relation to prayer (motivations, states of mind that generate it, effects over time) decrease considerably. At the same time, the data show that girls pray more than boys, have a greater capacity to show gratitude to God for the help received, and feel the peace of mind that personal prayer provides to a greater extent than they do.

Taking an overview of the context in which we live our lives, we can easily observe that we are constantly facing the challenges of a changing world. Particularly in the case of young people, we notice prominent differences, primarily because they belong to the generation of modern technology and the virtual world. We are witnessing a rapid transition from face-to-face human interactions to the digital universe, through the use of tablets and smartphones, where time and space take on new meanings, and interpersonal relationships may not be as effective and transparent. The religious aspect justifies its importance within the spectrum of educational sciences by addressing the need for meaning in life, which in turn contributes to a sense of security and self-esteem as a protective factor for individuals. In the current context, marked by cultural and religious diversity, religious sensitivity in education prepares the younger generations to transcend their own boundaries. It becomes a gateway to understanding religious diversity and the experiences that stem from it.

The current research paper examines the issue, related to the development of education in Sliven during the period of the Bulgarian Revival until the First World War. The topic is very broad encompasses a large timeframe and includes a number of events and processes. Particularly, it traces the creation, the school construction and the personalities, who have contributed to the rise of high-level education. The study begins with the development of the first schools in Sliven during the 19th century. An emphasis is put on the spread of girls' education, the establishment of boys’ and girls’ high schools as well as on the first vocational school. Traced is the activity of the church and city’s municipalities. Briefly examined are facts about notable teachers, involved in the education of the city during this period. There have been used multiple resources, aiming to give a clearer picture and accuracy about the education in Sliven within the period considered.

Křesťanské misie 17. a 18. století: otázka kulturní identity a porozumění

Od druhé poloviny 15. století se lidé v Africe, Americe, Indii, Japonsku, Číně i v Tichomoří stále častěji setkávali s evropskými objeviteli, obchodníky, vojáky KONTEXT: i misionáři. V 16.–18. století se v této souvislosti odehrávala intenzivní kulturní výměna mezi křesťanským evropským světem a domorodými, zcela odlišnými kulturami různých kontinentů. Křesťanské misie představovaly v tomto procesu jeden z činitelů zásadní proměny křesťanské společnosti a kultury evropského Západu, stejně jako společností, které se s Evropany setkávaly. Téma raněnovověkých misií se pojí nejenom s nevědeckými dezinterpretacemi, ale také s odbornými kontroverzemi, jež pramení mj. z proměny nahlížení na dějiny mimoevropských civilizací. Historikové se postupně odklonili od evropocentrismu a začali v otázce zámořských objevů a kolonizace zohledňovat kromě klasického pohledu evropské historiografie (perspektiva „dobyvatelů“) také pohled potomků domorodců (perspektiva „podrobených“). Na povrch se také vynořily různé možnosti interpretace toho, co se v 15.–18. století odehrálo: V oblasti Střední a Jižní Ameriky to mohlo být na jedné straně rozšíření evropské křesťanské civilizace, jazyka a kulturních modelů, na straně druhé pak demografická a postupně i morální devastace populací původních obyvatel, mající drtivé následky do dnešní doby (viz například festival dokumentárních filmů Jeden svět o důsledku relativně nedávných křesťanských aktivit v Paraguayi: https://www.jedensvet.cz/archive2/rocnik/2021/44518-zbylo-nam-jen-slunce) . Je tedy užitečné pochopit tuto látku v historickém kontextu a zohlednit při tom pohled různých historických aktérů – dobyvatelů, misionářů, domorodců. To vše nám může pomoci porozumět nejenom událostem minulým, ale i tomu, co se na mnoha místech světa děje dnes.

Se židovskou tematikou se setkáváme v našich zemích již od 10. století, kdy do českých zemí přicházeli první Židé. Od té doby se Židé opakovaně stávali cílem útoku ostatních, často přicházeli nejen o svůj majetek, ale i o své životy. Vše vyvrcholilo druhou světovou válkou a holocaustem. Historie židovského obyvatelstva i jeho každodenního života je bohužel v rámci středoškolského vyučování opomíjena – převážně z časových důvodů. Proto je velmi důležité i v dnešní době, kdy antisemitismus není výjimkou, aby se studenti o židovské tematice dozvěděli a společně o ní diskutovali. Díky níže popsaným programovým blokům se se studenty můžeme dotknout nejen perzekucí židovské komunity, transportů a poválečné situace, ale také židovských tradic a zvyků.

This paper presents the partial results of a pedagogical study carried out to identify the training needs of teachers and school counselors in Argeș, Alba, and Cluj Counties, in order to provide quality parental support, which will contribute significantly to the development of parents' skills and to the increase of family resilience. The objectives of the study refer to the design of a practical model of a continuous training program intended for preschool and primary education teachers, head teachers and school counselors focused on the facilitation of educational counseling activities and values-centered parental education programs. The results highlight the need to address the priority areas of family support and the most effective forms of educational intervention to increase family resilience and the quality of family life. The conclusions emphasize the joint pedagogical actions of educators and school counselors to improve parental skills, strengthen parental roles, and successfully pursue the family's educational function.

SCHOOL INCLUSION FOR CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME UNDER THE PRINCIPLE OF SUPPORT SERVICES PROVISION

The analysis of the current situation in the field of inclusive education in the Republic of Moldova reveals that the National Education System faces the problem of insufficient teacher and support teacher training in designing customized assistance for children with Down syndrome. In this context, the research aim lies in establishing strategies to make school inclusion of children with Down syndrome more efficient in terms of the principle of providing support services. The proposed strategies comprise a related set of activities, exercises, and games, designed by areas of development of children with Down syndrome, namely comprising the physical, language and communication, cognitive, social-emotional, and adaptive behaviour categories. These strategies prefigure a logical and individualised methodological framework for the school inclusion of children with Down syndrome through the principle of support services provision.

Traditional ways of approaching the literary text tend not to identify and explore the deep resources of imagination and creativity that each pupils possesses. Integrated contents through literature and visual arts should inspire pupils to explore and develop these hidden resources, giving them the opportunity to evolve and contribute to society in unique ways. Reading fairy tales, for example, takes pupils to fantastic realms, offers them the opportunity to meet different characters, portrayed in different situations and colours, and introduces elements that can inspire their imagination when creating art work. The condition to transpose a literary work into an art work, a meaningful excerpt of the text should be selected and read, the elements that the art work is to be based on should be highlighted, and methods and procedures appropriate to the proposed content should be applied. The scientific problem considers the theoretical substantiation and methodological instrumentation of the pedagogical conditions necessary to ensure the efficient interaction between the methods and procedures applied during the processing of a literary work in correlation with visual arts oriented to developing the imagination and creativity of younger school age pupils. The aim of our paper is to design a conceptual model of interaction of methods applied in the classes of literary text processing in correlation with visual arts in the younger grades of elementary school in order to optimize the didactic act. This paper is very important from an interdisciplinary point of view, but also to highlight, trough images and words, the values of interculturality at the geographical area where the Romanian language and visual arts are learned in the pupil’s mother tongue.

This study aims to identify the importance of religious-moral influences in supporting the integration of children with Special Educational Needs, promoting the provision of equal opportunities in education, in mass schools regardless of the children's learning, participation or development possibilities, but also defining a limit of integration into a mainstream school imposed by the degree of disability. The study presents the educational approach of children with special educational requirements at the level of classes in mainstream education. The therapeutic program aims at the general speech therapy approach, but also the introduction of religious-moral approaches at the level of educational activities in relation to this category of children. The research is oriented towards the identification of religious-moral influences on the integration process of children with Special Educational Requirements.

Tehnologia de Realitate Virtuală Imersivă (Immersive Virtual Reality / IVR) crează un mediu multi-senzorial care oferă utilizatorilor o experiență completă într-o lume generată computerizat. Deși IVR este recunoscută ca un instrument eficient pentru îmbunătățirea învățării, răspândit rapid în ultimii ani, studiile care analizează impactul acesteia asupra dezvoltării memoriei sunt încă limitate în România. Scopul studiului prezent a fost să examineze modul în care IVR folosit în povestire influențează memoria la copii comparativ cu modalitatea clasică de prezentare a poveștilor. 30 de copii cu vârsta de 6 ani au fost împărțiți în două grupuri: în timp ce copiii ascultau povestea, un grup a interacționat cu conținutul poveștii în mediu virtual, iar celălalt grup a privit imagini/ planșe ilustrative pentru secvența narativă. Rezultatele au arătat că preșcolarii din grupul afectat de IVR au avut performanțe superioare în sarcinile de reamintire a poveștii comparativ cu copiii din celălalt grup.

After 1990, Bulgaria entered a new era profoundly shaped by democratic and social changes. Until that point, the communist regime had suppressed religious education for nearly five decades, enforcing a system based on atheism. In this context, the reintegration of religious education encounters numerous challenges, including the pronounced secularization of society, the cultural legacy of atheism, and the absence of public consensus on the necessity of religious education. Although Bulgaria's legal framework supports religious freedom, religious education remains optional and is offered in a limited number of schools. The strained relationship between the Church and the State, coupled with the optional nature of the subject and the administrative difficulties faced by teachers of religion, adversely impacts the implementation of religious education. This article analyzes these issues and underscores the need for additional efforts to strengthen religious education, acknowledge religious identity, and integrate it into an increasingly diverse Bulgarian society.

This study represents a continuation of our research published last year on the Teaching of the Subjunctive Mood, Present Tense, at the “Education in the Perspective of Values” conference, which had two parts: a first theoretical part (focusing on mapping the teaching methodology, specialized bibliography, and the theoretical-practical premises from which we start) and a practical part that inventoried the category of verbs that end in “a” in the infinitive, along with the five major subclasses and the corresponding exceptions. Furthermore, the present study, which represents the second part of our research, considers the grammatical rules for teaching the Subjunctive Mood for verb categories that end in “î” and “e” in the infinitive (presentation of the conjugation rule, verb endings, and examples), as well as a list of the most important irregular verbs for each category.

That person would probably the feeling of being in a crazy world or living a nightmare from which he can’t seem to make up. You could probably think that he would be a total misfit. Iz knjige život (ne) svakidašnji prof. dr. Mladena Bevande želim izdvojiti s razlogom, nekoliko tekstova i posebno ih komentirati. Važno je napomenuti i na ovom mjestu, da je Bevanda Mladen, godinama bio, omiljeni profesor kada studenti/postdiplomci biraju temu za diplomski, magistarski ili doktorski rad. Predavanju su mu bila iznimno posjećena, a među studentima je bio prepoznatljiv po nastupima koji su obilovali uz sve znanstvene fakte, lucidnostima, pričama iz daljnje i bliže povijesti čije je likove uspijevao oživjeti i čini se da svaki put prezentirao, igrao novu rolu u «teatru», koja će se dugo pamtiti.

Iz Mostara u Čitluk putujem sa Stanislavom Vukorepom. Vozim polako, razgovaramo o koječemu i tako sve do ulaza u naselje. S obje strane ulice, koja je glavna i gotovo jedina prava ulica u Čitluku, izrasle su goleme platne. Ulica ima tri trake i promet teče neometano. Stanislav pita za platane, ja objašnjavam da su posađene prije pedesetak godina kad je predsjednik općine bio Mladen Bevanda. Prije su bile neke kržljave topole, ali je tada mladi predsjednik ocijenio da one nisu pravo rješenje za centar Općine te je uz savjete stručnjaka organizirao uklanjanje topola i zasađivanje platana, isti dan. Vidjelo se kako je to bio dobar potez, ali neki mještani nisu nikako pristajali da se kraj njihovih kuća sadi neko drugo drvo. Tako sada dvije preostale topole, pored Janjine kuće i MUP-a, izgledaju kao ruglo. Napomenuh Stanislavu da je dolaskom na dužnost Mladen pokrenuo i ostvario niz projekata, a najprije je sa suradnicima regulirao tok potoka/baruštine usred naselja što je bilo leglo komaraca i izvor neugodnih mirisa. Rekoh, Mladen je bio praktično preporoditelj općine i to je bilo prepoznato istom tridesetak godina kasnije kad je dobio Godišnju nagradu za doprinos razvoju Općine.
