Čovjekov život je kao autostrada – dojam je, gotovo nepregledan, s usponima i padovima, krivinama, ponekad i promjenama smjera. I traži da se s vremena na vrijeme zastane, okrene, pogleda unatrag. Da se, ako ništa, barem pokuša napraviti inventura – koliko se prešlo, kako, jesu li pravljena nepotrebna usporavanja, čak i zastoji? I je li zbog svih njih jedan životni hod manje impresivan i manje uspješan no što je mogao biti?

U sociologiji religije klasična religioznost određuje se kao jedinstvo religiozne svesti i religioznog ponašanja i udruživanja. Uz deklarisanje u religijskim terminima, neophodno je i na propisan način obavljati obrede i redovno prelaziti prag hrama (Blagojević 2005: 63). Odbacuje se subjektivna religioznost bez crkvenosti, budući da većina verskih struktura zahteva pravovernost iskazanu i kroz svakodnevno praktično potvrđivanje verničkog statusa (Đorđević – Todorović 2001: 157).

Obrazovanje je stub svakog društva, a kako je danas većina društava multietnička i međusobno su snažnije povezana tehnološkim i ekonomskim napretkom, onda je interkulturalno obrazovanje najbolji način da se kultivira etos međusobnog razumijevanja i uvažavanja. Na koncu sloboda podrazumijeva izbor, uključujući i izbor vjerovanja ili nevjerovanja i vjerskog obrazovanja. Važan dio interkulturalnog obrazovanja je i religijsko obrazovanje koje, ako se postavi na temelje univerzalizma, može doprinijeti približavanju različitih svjetonazora.

The study deals with a brief description of some of the False Dmitry plays (i.e., plays with a plot that describes a part of the life of the first False Dmitry, or Dmitry Samozvanets) written in Western Europe-specifically in Italy, Spain and England-before the end of the Baroque period. Apart from the selected plays and their interpretations, the paper also focuses on various sources studied by the playwrights to get to know the theme and figure of the False Dmitry. Last but not least, the paper focuses on the authors’ religions and any potential impact their religious affiliations may have had on forming the authors’ views of (the False) Dmitry. A major role was played by Jesuit sources, which were studied predominantly by authors from Catholic countries (Italy and Spain), whereas in England, which was Protestant, various travelogues and information from people who had been to Moscow were available, which resulted in a different approach to the theme by the playwrights.

This article aims to explore the place of the Christians in society, especially regarding their involvement in the debates about the status of the unborn child. The paper assesses two opposing ways of understanding the Christian life – one of them being that of focusing only on the inner life and repenting for the personal sins, and the other one being that of active involvement in social issues, without counting the progress in personal life. It is argued that the best way is the middle one, the way of equilibrium, which appeals to discernment and which unites the spiritual inner life with social participation, particularly on the problem of denying the unborn child’s dignity from our society.

In order to establish correctly the present context of the Church's testimony, it is necessary to establish briefly the pluralism and tolerance within modernism and the dialectic between modernism and post-modernism. For this reason, this issue can be addressed by referring to the contrast between pre-modernism, modernism and post-modernism. If we keep talking about a new economy, we will soon be able to talk about a new Christianity. Not so much from a dogmatic point of view, but rather from a racial distribution. By superimposing this reality on the effects of globalization and the rise of Islam, we will be able to witness the return to that system of transnational order in the Middle Ages, which disappeared with the advent of the nation-state system and the rise of secularism Under the current conditions, political affiliation will become less and less relevant, and religious affiliation will become much more important. The concept of the national state is extremely vulnerable. Likewise, the connection between a certain political entity and a certain denomination will become irrelevant. From this point of view, it is very interesting to speculate on the evolution of the Orthodox Churches, which identify extremely much with the national village. Given the universal vocation of Christianity, this formula is somewhat unfortunate and gives rise to unnecessary antagonisms.

Mărturisesc că dintru-nceput am citit cartea lui Konrad György cu o lentilă specială, justificată de titlul ales de acesta pentru romanul său de debut, Vizitatorul'. Lumina în care așezam semnificațiile acestui text se datora lecturilor mele teologice despre îngeri, ființe celeste, pur spirituale, însărcinate, printre altele, să medieze cunoașterea lui Dumnezeu de către oameni și să facă prezente în lume voința și puterile Celui căruia îi sunt supuși. Specie destinată intermedierii - discutabil din punct de vedere teologic dacă superioară sau inferioară omului -, îngerii produc, o dată cu apariția lor în lumea omogenă a imanenței, o fisură în cuirasa indolenței umane, suficientă să facă posibilă infiltrarea credinței sau măcar a neliniștii. îndeobște ei sunt cunoscuți ca înaintemergătorii alterității radicale care este Dumnezeu. Pentru a verifica acest lucru, să rememorăm două momente cruciale în narațiunea biblică, precum întâlnirea patriarhului Avraam cu cei trei îngeri la stejarul din Mamvri și Bunavestire adusă Fecioarei Maria de către arhanghelul Gabriel. Ipoteza, perfect plauzibilă, că străinii pot fi mesageri ai divinității a determinat în cazul evreilor un comportament atipic printre popoarele antice, care presupunea acordarea unei ospitalități deosebite necunoscuților, altminteri de ne-nțeles într-o lume în care alogenul era permanent victima suspiciunilor.

Câteva remarce prealabile: biserica se prezintă ca un concept cu multiple fațete. Este mai întâi o instituție, apoi o ierarhie și, în fine, adunarea credincioșilor. Mă voi ocupa mai ales de instituție, o instituție ce n-a fost niciodată monolitică. Noțiunea de moștenire a bisericii va fi tratată în sens pur descriptiv și fără judecăți de valoare. Prin moștenire înțeleg ceea ce subzistă; de pildă, HLM-urile sau industria de armament fac parte din moștenirea Poloniei populare.

Nu poți atinge extazul decât trecând mai întâi prin infern. în cadrul ritualului masochist, se pot observa două etape: provocarea durerii fizice, urmată de obținerea plăcerii. Rapoartele psihiatrilor - bune cel mult pentru statistici - susțin că „dorințele perverse ale indivizilor masochiști pot foarte bine să meargă până la consecințe extreme” (Krafft-Ebing, Viața lui Sacher Masoeh). Rănire gravă și omor: supliciu, durere care nu poate fi suportată decât într-o stare de absolută detașare. Acest prim stadiu nu este, în esență, decât o „mors mystica”, moment inaugural al oricărei mari inițieri. Abia acum începe autoflagelarea. Asemenea celei practicate de sfinți. Referindu-se la penitență și la viața preafericită, unul dintre marii mistici ai secolului al XIV-lea, Meister Ecxhart, face două afirmații mai mult decât edificatoare: „Mulți oameni își închipuie că trebuie să facă lucruri mari și exterioare: să postească, să meargă cu picioarele goale și alte penitențe. Dar adevărata penitență și cea mai bună dintre toate, cea care permite progresul până în cel mai înalt grad, constă în a te îndepărta total și în mod desăvârșit de tot ceea ce nu este cu adevărat Dumnezeu... și a te întoarce cu totul către Dumnezeul preaiubit, într-o iubire statornică, într-o mare cucernicie și o mare dorință de el” (Cartea consolării divine, p. 38). Cu ușurință se poate trage concluzia că masochistul, sclavul adică, nu vede în stăpânul său, mai bine-zis, călăul său, nimic altceva decât un principiu divin. Stăpânul este centrul universului, un veritabil „axis mundi” îndreptat către Dumnezeu.

The decrease of formal religiosity has been considered a result of long-term influences of modernization processes and forced secularization during the period of the Communist rule. This secularisation thesis has been called in question by authors documenting signs of religious revival, or re-sacralisation. The concepts such as pluralization and privatization of the religious life, alternative religiosity or personal spirituality are closely connected with re-sacralisation. The objectives of this article are to explore the transformation of religiosity from the viewpoint of the young believers in Brno – with the focus on their religious imagery and spatial practices. The theoretical frame of our work is grounded in the secularization thesis and its critique. The methods of qualitative research has been utilized, based on the participant observations and semi-structured interviews with young believers in Brno. The grounded theory in the vein of Strauss and Corbin has been employed to analyse the data. It is based in the thorough analysis of the interviews with the use of coding and leads to construction of the theory grounded in the data.

This paper examines whether the phenomenon of religion can be a determining dynamic in the emergence of the dominant-party system. To explain this, I take hand Turkey and Russia, which have been governed by a dominant party for more than 20 years. Accordingly, I analyze the importance of religion from the standpoint of the electorate of these two countries since the dominant parties emerge based on voter preferences. The findings of this study reveal that religion can be very effective in creating a dominant party in non-secularised countries such as Turkey. However, when the case of Russia is considered, it demonstrates that religious phenomenon remains the emergence of the dominant-party system remains far from being a determinant and generalizable dynamic.
