Фељтони у дневним листовима у Србији 1985–1990. година

Фељтони у дневним листовима у Србији 1985–1990. година

Author(s): Dragan Popović / Language(s): Serbian / Issue: 3/2019

The feuilletons in daily newspapers with largest circulation in Serbia during 1980s (Politika, Politika ekspres and Večernje novosti) have been studied. The topics of the feuilletons, the way of presentation and relations with current political situation have been analysed. The aim of the work is to prove strong correlation between selection of feuilletons’ topics and their presentation with the politics of Serbian leadership. Feuilletons have been used for historical revisionism according to the needs of new ruling ideology (nationalism). They have also been used for inciting hatred against all declared enemies, as well as for creating an impression of endangerment of the Serbs and Serbia. Under these circumstances, it was easy for the leadership (selfpresented as a guardian of national interests) to mobilize citizens and secure wide political support.

ФЕНОМЕН КОРЕЙСЬКОЇ ХВИЛІ В МЕТАМОДЕРНОМУ СЕРЕДОВИЩІ ЄВРОПЕЙСЬКОЇ КУЛЬТУРИ

Author(s): Larysa Osadcha / Language(s): Ukrainian / Issue: 2/2021

Purpose of the article is to analyze reasons of rapid growth of the Korean cultural product popularity in European cultural environment, to identify coincidence of the worldview, aesthetic, gaming demands of the Western consumer audience and art patterns of the Korean mass-culture. The phenomenon of the rapid popularity growth of Korean cultural products is called the “Korean wave. According to statistics, K-pop forms 2% of GDP (for comparison, Korean aviation – 0,7 %). On March 2020 the artistic heritage of the nowadays most popular Korean pop-band BTS was recognized “the strategic export product” of South Korea. That’s why it is actually to study out reasons for the great popularity of the “Korean wave” among the Western European cultural environment. Methodology. Theoretical basis of the exploration includes authors as of the applying field of cultural science, so of the fundamental one. For example, N. Tytkova (2020) analyzes style peculiarities of the Korean wave, Y. Pak (2015) outlines the genealogy of the phenomenon according to the Korean ethnic mentality specificity. Appealing to the theoretical works of R. Popty (1996) and F. Jameson (2008), T. Vermeulen and R. van der Akker (2010) has facilitated deeper understanding as of the Metamodern features of the actual European culture so the specificity of nowadays Korean pop-culture. Scientific novelty. Popularity of the Southern Korean pop-culture in Europe and Northern America is caused not only by the marketing peculiarities of the K-pop industry but also by its reasoning with key values and demands of the metamodern Western culture, such as “new sincerity”, “sober fanaticism”, “pragmatic romanticism”, “causal esotericism”. Conclusions. The powerful request for the youth artifacts and practices is been formed in the West. But artistic and academic discourse is still been under the influence of distrustfully critical postmodern narrative. Thus, the rupture between the West’s philosophical self-reflective vocabulary and applied requests for the new sincerity, and new romanticism has created favorable conditions for the youth-oriented mass-culture import.

ФЕНОМЕНОЛОГІЯ ТВОРЧОСТІ У ЦИФРОВУ ЕПОХУ

Author(s): Yuliia Vasylivna Meliakova,Eduard Anatoliyovych Kalnytskyi,Inna Igorivna Kovalenko / Language(s): Ukrainian / Issue: 1/2020

The paper aims to discuss the features of art practices and the specifics of art work existence in the digital culture paradigm. The research methodology is determined by the heuristic potential of art and cultural philosophic studies in digital culture combined with the communicative and existential analytics. The characteristics of author’s individual art strategies in the interactive locus of existence is the scientific novelty of the work and allows us to conclude that the interactive media landscape has considerably changed the configuration of art work in culture. Being the projection of the digital ontology of reality and having received unlimited access to communication, an artist primarily demonstrates creative workflow, provides information on the creation and his or her own quasi-existence, avoiding similarity and anonymity. Sometimes process documentation is more important than art itself and it can replace an artwork. Contemporary art is represented not only by finished products (“objects”), but also by relations (the frequency of participatory practices, performance, life experience of the epoch when the artwork was created). These relations enable to implement new rationalization. Owing to the above practices, an artist and a viewer are both actively involved in the creative process of converging design, content and logic of artwork development. The contemporary reality is mediated not only by transcendent or language, but also by new media (partially linguistic, partially pragmatic), being merely fiction, or construct. This is the way of representation that has fulfills a serious ontological function: the subject existence as a homo mediatus is verified by his or her presence in the network. Accordingly, artist’s creativity, as well as his internal world, will be perceived if he is proactive in digital culture.

Author(s): Rumen Kozhuharov / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 5/2018

Speaking about the phenomenon of abstract art, we often credit the merits of the first "founder" or "pioneer" in this genre to Vasily Kandinsky. Being one of the earliest artists who used the term "abstract" in the period of development of fine arts, Kandinsky is an artist - theoretician who recreated the Renaissance idea of feeling, the vital, the terrestrial and self-knowledge in his works - distinctive and innovative for the period. Noting the foundations of perception of the abstract and spatial structures, Kandinsky wrote the book "On the Spiritual in Art. Point and line to plane" It will not be a mistake to say that he was the first "pure" artist, who had entirely focused his work on cleansing and simplifying images to the plane, depriving himself of the image due to his belief that excessive specificity prevented his paintings and self-expression. In his theories, Kandinsky offered to the general public a summary of the way in which the work of art is created and put it in the frame of visual composition consisting of two basic elements - the inner - emotional and the outer - accessible element.

Фестивальний рух як чинник розвитку музичної культури запоріжжя періоду незалежності України

Author(s): Olexandr Antonenko / Language(s): Ukrainian / Issue: 35/2015

One of the peculiarities of modern social-cultural space of Zaporizhia region is the development of festival movement that has become a daily routine of modern artistic life of the region and given pulse for international integration processes. In the conditions of national-cultural development of Ukrainian state in Zaporizhia region a great number of festivals appeared, their aim is the revival of national spiritual achievements. The All-Ukrainian festival-competition of music-song culture of Cossacks "Khortytsia" became a well known forum of that direction. It was held in 1990-1993 and was dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the foundation of the Zaporizhia Cossacks. The festival gave a push for revival of Cossack song traditions in the region. At that period in Zaporizhia the vivid folk bands were created, we associate them with the level of modern folk choral culture of the region such as a vocal company "Kozakyzhaporozhtsi", a chorus "Zaporizhki kozaky", a song and dance company "Zaporozhtsi". The peculiarities of historical-cultural development of Zaporizhia region is its polyethnicity. The development of artistic traditions became the inalienable component of life and the important source of ethnic identification of national groups of the region. The numeral folk bands are created in national-cultural centres. The folk festivals became an important motivation for the improvement of their performance skills. The most prestige forum of this field is the art festival of national cultures "My – ukrainski" which is held from 1998 in Prymorsk. It is a great intercultural holiday that intensifies the development of folk bands of the different ethnic centres. The main features of the development of the choral culture in Zaporizhia region at the period of independent Ukraine is the activity of the clerical choral music festivals. During 1998-2001 the festival of clerical choral music "Poite Bogy nashemu, poite" was held in Berdiansk. In 2005 the All-Ukrainian festival of clerical choral singing "Khrystos Voskrese" was founded in Zaporizhia. It became a vivid event in the musical culture of Zaporizhia region and an important factor of revival orthodox traditions there. Among the musical festivals of academic sphere, the International festival of Slavic piano music is very famous and prestige. The festival had been held on the base of Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky since 1999 till 2012. The festival gathered and inspired the young pianists from Ukraine, Russia, Byelorus, Moldova and Bulgaria. Every year during the festival there was a presentation of Slavic piano inheritance and achievements of national composer, performance and pedagogical schools. Due to the wide programme of events such as concerts, performances, master-class of pedagogues-pianists, scientific-methodical conferences and seminars concerning musical pedagogy and piano performance, courses of extension of qualification under the aegis of National Ukrainian music union, the festival gave an unique opportunity to acquaint oneself with historical and modern achievements, current tendencies and directions of the Slavic piano art’s development. Among art projects which play an important role in the process of social-cultural development of Zaporizhzhia, the international festival-contest of child’s and junior performance art "Akordy Khortytsi" differs by its scale. During the 14 years history of the festival about 8 thousand musicians at the age of 7 to 17 from Ukraine, Byelorus, Armenia, Russia, Moldova, Germany, Austria, Serbia, China, South Korea, The United States of America took part in this competition; they demonstrated their mastery in the 5 nominations such as a soloist with the orchestra; soloistinstrumentalists and vocalists; companies; a concertmaster; the solfeggio and the theory of music. The laureates of the festival "Akordy Khortytsi" got an opportunity to take part in different international art projects at the cost of sponsors. So the aim of the festival was not only to find a talented young people, but to help them in their further artistic growth. We should add that festivals of child’s and junior creative work are rather popular phenomena in the social-cultural space of Zaporizhia region. One of the most progressive festivals of Zaporizhia region is the international festival of vocal variety art "Medovyi krai". One of the vivid events in cultural life of Zaporizhia area is the All-Ukrainian festival of wind and variety music "Tavriiski Surmy" It has been gathering professional, military, childish and educational wind orchestras in Melitopol since 2001. The festival is organized according to European examples, it copies the tradition of holding the concert events on the open grounds, defile, parade-concert of brass bands. One of the most interest art projects in Zaporizhia region is the All-Ukrainian youth festival "Perlyny sezonu". Since 1995 the festival has been presenting the creative work of young Ukrainian pop-performances from the different parts of Ukraine. Among the festivals of variety direction we also should distinguish regional festival of youth variety art "Zorepad". The mentioned above festivals are not commercial; their goal is the activation of cultural creative processes in Zaporizhia region and their inclusion into Ukrainian and international art space. Musical festivals of the region can be classified into 3 directions: academic, folk and variety. The most important thing that the holding of the festival on the territory of the region for young people, helps young musicians in self-determination and self-realization, finding their own way in music-professional development. In conditions of the lowering of the concert-toured season in the recent years, festivals began to play an important role of delivering to the people spiritual treasures, propaganda of highly qualified art. The holding of prestige festivals and competitions is one of the ways to achieve Zaporizhia the level of the artistic city which want to get a status of cultural centres of Ukraine.

Философията на модернизма в архитектурата на БАУХАУС

Author(s): Iskra Dandolova / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 1/2022

After 1989, the construction of industrially built residential blocks in residential complexes in Sofia was stopped. Until then, for two or three decades, they were the most important production for the construction of residential buildings in the capital according to the principles of modernism. Thousands of homeless people eagerly awaited them to be sheltered. Confusion ensued after the political changes in 1989, when attempts were made to implement the laws on the restitution of agricultural land within the complexes, despite the fact that these were “projects with implementation” and according to the Restitution Law no changes could be made there. The complexes, as well as the other constructions in progress, only had to be completed according to their designs. But it did not happen. In many places, “illegal restitution” of private agricultural land has begun, as well as spontaneous “privatization” of municipal and state lands and new construction in violation of the projects for the development of residential complexes. Their physical and social environment has changed radically and as a result the quality of life in them has deteriorated sharply. Thirty years after 1989, the residential complexes of Sofia have dramatically moved away from the principles of modernism and are almost everywhere in spatial and social degradation. An intensive process of anti-modernism is under way. Only recently the Sofia Municipality decided to introduce a policy to improve the living conditions of citizens in these territories – will it be able to realize and develop it and is it not too late?

Фольклорна тенденція як виявлення національного стилю у творчості У. Дойчиновича (на прикладі «З землі опанака»)

Author(s): Olena Anatoliyivna Khoroshavina / Language(s): Ukrainian / Issue: 3/2019

The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the folklore tendency as a manifestation of the national style in the work of U. Doychinovic. The methodology of this article is based on the unity of such approaches as psychological, musical - historical, musicological, analytical, socio-cultural, genre-style and performing. The scientific novelty is determined by the fact that, on the one hand, the leading features of the genesis of Serbian guitar art are identified, and on the other hand, the features of the folk tendency are revealed analytically as a manifestation of the national style in the works of Doychinovic. Conclusions. To identify the leading bases and aesthetic principles of the creative individuality of Uros Doychinovic, one of the most important contextual conditions is to reveal the concept of the national. The musicological approach to the problem of the national, on the one hand, appeals to those folklore traditions that allow you to form an idea of your own style in reliance on folklore sources, on the other hand, the process of forming a national music tradition cannot be reduced to one starting point and be unidirectional. The peculiarity of the musical language of the works of U. Doychinovic is the reliance on the principles of the national Oriental melody and the unique metrhythmic structure characteristic of the music and intonational complex of the peoples of the Balkan countries. More often, it is the specificity of ornamentation that forms intonational melodic semantics and makes it possible to determine the historical origin of the studied song material.
