V prvej polovici septembra 2019 sa v Ružomberku, na pôde Filozofickej fakulty Katolíckej univerzity, prednášalo a diskutovalo o otázkach tvorby, praktizovania, prejavov, dôsledkov a o špecifikách kultového správania v priereze dejín. Dialosa tak na fóre 3. ročníka konferencie zameranej na kultúrne dejiny, ktorej organizátorom bola, okrem už spomínanej hosťujúcej Katedry histórie FF KU v Ružomberku, aj Česká společnost pro slavistická, balkanistická a byzantologická studia.

Zavod za zaštitu i korištenje kulturno-historijskog i prirodnog nslijeđa Tuzlanskog kantona je u proteklih nekoliko godina organizovao nekoliko naučnih skupova i okruglih stolova o naslijeđu na području Tuzlanskog kantona i sjeveroistočne Bosne. Zadnji takav skup je Zavod organizovao 14. 12. 2011. godine u Bijeljini.

Am 15. September 2018 fand in Gundelsheim am Neckar die Jahresversammlung des Arbeitskreises für Siebenbürgische Landeskunde (AKSL) in Kooperation mit dem Institut für deutsche Kultur und Geschichte Südosteuropas an der LMU München (IKGS) und der Kulturreferentin für Siebenbürgen am Siebenbürgischen Museum Gundelsheim zum Thema „Untergang oder Aufbruch? Siebenbürgen nach dem Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs“ statt. Gefördert wurde die Tagung von der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien. Aus unterschiedlichen historisch-politischen sowie literarisch-künstlerischen Blickwinkeln wurden die Folgen des Zerfalls der Habsburgermonarchie für Siebenbürgen beleuchtet. Inhaltlich schloss sich diese Jahresversammlung zum 100. Jahrestag des Endes des Ersten Weltkriegs damit an die 49. Jahrestagung „Umbruch mit Schlachtenlärm“ 2014 an, die anlässlich des 100. Jahrestags seines Beginns die einschneidende Bedeutung des Ereignisses und seiner Folgen für Siebenbürgen untersuchte.

General Conventions of Polish Historians serve as a form of professionalisation of historical science and integration of the scholarly milieu. Since 1925, the event has been held under the auspices of Polish Historical Society [PTH]. But its history is even longer: the first Convention was organised by the Cracow-based Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences [PAU] on the 400th death anniversary of the chronicler Jan Długosz, in the year 1880. There was enough time, then, to determine the canon of objectives and purposes, and the concept(s) of their institutionalisation.

Mohandas Karamcand Gandhi (1869–1948) is a figure almost synonymous with India. From his activities in British South Africa, transforming the Indian National Congress into an all-India movement with wide popular support, to leading the non-violent struggle for Indian Independence and finally dying by the hands of a disillusioned admirer turned political opponent, he shaped India and has remained a relevant point of reference decades after his death. The year 2019 coincided with his 150 birth anniversary, which not only sparked celebrations in India and abroad, but also inspired the international conference “Gandhi after Gandhi” which took place in Turin on December 2nd and 3rd, 2019.
