No 2018. gada 1. līdz 3. jūnijam Stenforda Universitātē Kalifornijā norisinājās Baltijas studiju veicināšanas apvienības (Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies, saīsināti – AABS) konference. 1 Lai gan šī bija kārtējā apvienības tikšanās, šogad tā bija īpaša, jo sakrita ar divām apaļām jubilejām – Baltijas valstu simtgadi un AABS piecdesmitgadi. Īpašā pasākuma norisei tika izvēlēta īpaša vieta – Līlenda Stenforda jaunākā Universitāte (Leland Stanford Junior University). Šī 1891. gadā dibinātā privātā augstskola ir ne tikai izcila izglītības un pētniecības iestāde (otrā vieta pasaules universitāšu akadēmiskajā reitingā), bet arī nozīmīgs Baltijas studiju centrs. Stenforda Universitātes bibliotēka tiek uzskatīta par vienu no bagātīgākajām Baltijas studiju avotu krātuvēm ASV, kas īpaši koncentrējas uz materiālu apkopošanu par Baltijas valstu okupāciju, nevardarbīgās pretošanās kustību un neatkarības atjaunošanu, kā arī dokumentē Baltijas uzņēmēju aktivitātes Stenfordai kaimiņos esošajā Silikona ielejā.

The workshop “Art in COVID-19 humour” took place on 21 September 2022 within the framework of the 5th international conference “Balkan and Baltic States in United Europe: History, Religion, and Culture V”, which was held in Tartu, Estonia, on 18–22 September 2022. Brno - the symbolic conclusion of the intensive two-year Networking for Families project took the form of a conference held on 21 March 2019 in Brno. The conference was organised, as was the whole of the project, by the RATOLEST BRNO, z.s. non-profit organisation, and it was judged to be a great success by the 90 or so participating social workers from the state administration and non-profit sectors. In addition to the establishment of new relationships, the most important output of the project consists of the website: www.situjeme.cz.
