Author(s): Dimitar Iskrev / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 1/2023

The stages of personal development make it possible to examine the professional growth of people. In order to understand the different attitudes and perceptions people have about their own careers, one must examine both the career challenges that people face at different points in their career paths and the changes they encounter in their personal life as they get older. Understanding the nature of career and life stages helps people deal more effectively with important transitions in their lives. The career stage and life stage models clarify a number of fundamental issues of career development. They outline three critical choice points in career development. The first critical point of choice appears around the age of thirty. A major decision that people need to make at this stage is whether to pursue a primarily technical career or whether to move on to pursue a broader managerial or administrative career. A career anchor functions as a coercive force when a person makes decisions about what career path to follow and how to balance their personal and work lives. There are strategies that people can use to more constructively manage their own moves outside the organization: clarifying work expectations; diagnosing the sources of satisfaction and dissatisfaction; diagnosing the reasons for turnover; discussing reconciling new work with personal life. The second critical point of choice appeared in the early forties. At this time, most people are faced with major career decisions: to accept the terms of how they want to develop professionally and what they themselves have to give to get it; whether to stay with the same organization or start their own career. There are steps people can take to avoid a career plateau or reduce its negative effects: moving from specialized technical jobs to more general administrative or management positions; reducing self-imposed career limitations; seeking feedback from upper levels of management regarding promotion ability and the organization's future career plans for them. The third critical choice point in career development occurs in the late fifties. At this time, most people are faced with important decisions about how to direct the rest of their lives; how to get involved in the lives of their children and grandchildren; whether to remain active at work until retirement or to withdraw gradually. The following main guidelines for managing career decline can be indicated: providing downward movements into areas of new job responsibility; providing demoted workers with realistic career information. the boot; placement of demoted employees with new colleagues and immediate supervisors; discussing various career options available to the employee. It is healthy for the organization to form an organizational career behaviour in which employees readily accept a decline in their professional status when they feel inferior in their job duties and do not perform effectively. A personally effective solution to these transition periods should leave people focused on the path ahead, not regretting the path they didn't take. The choices made at these stages greatly affect how productive and satisfied people will be for years to come.

İşsizliğin Azaltılmasına Yönelik Kamusal Müdahale: Çalışma Saatlerinin Düzenlenmesi

Author(s): Uğur ÇİÇEK,Neslihan Koç / Language(s): Turkish Issue: 22/2023

This study examines the effect of shortening weekly working hours on unemployment. At the same production level, employees working less time means more people working. In the study, it is predicted that reducing weekly working hours will reduce unemployment, provided that the income level of employees remains constant. Taking the studies and published reports as data, the results show that although shortening weekly working hours has positive effects, it is not welcomed in the labor market due to the increased costs it creates for employers. This negative impact can be eliminated by reducing the financial burdens on employers with financial aid and subsidies provided by the state. Although the study's findings are that this system will reduce unemployment, it is necessary to support it with public policies for this system to be implemented.

ПОВЕДЕНИЕТО КАТО ФАКТОР НА ИЗПЪЛНИТЕЛНОСТТА НА ИНДИВИДА В ОРГАНИЗАЦИЯТА

Author(s): Vance Bojkov,Marieta Goceva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 5/2023

The subject of the behavior of the individual in the organization is increasingly relevant these days. The strict and responsible fulfillment of the set goals depends on the behavior of the person who changes his actions under the influence of external or internal factors. Behavior can be conscious or unconscious, overt or covert, voluntary or involuntary. Organizational behavior as a scientific field studies the enduring characteristics of human behavior and human communities from the perspective of organized labor and management. It is an interdisciplinary field dedicated both to the study and understanding of the causes, structure and dynamics of individual and group work behavior, as well as to the practice of its impact, its actual practical management. Organizational behavior is concerned with defining, understanding, expecting and controlling human behavior within the organization and its environment. The potential motivating or demotivating impact of all aspects of organizational behavior is subject to reconsideration from the perspective of desired changes in behavior. These aspects include organizational culture, formal and informal structures and relationships, interpersonal behavior, communications, management and leadership. Individuality is an important factor and indicator expressing a particular and specific way of thinking of the person, emotional experience and behavior, which determine the unique attitude towards the environment and the personal self. Of particular importance in determining individuality are abilities and intelligence. An object of understandable attention is the behavior of the individual in the organization and the determinants of responsible organizational behavior. Organizational behavior seeks to provide practically useful tools for behavioral analysis at several levels. The behavioral process takes place in several dimensions, each with its own function. Each management approach also has motivational dimensions, because both activities are directly or indirectly related to the behavior of the organization's members. Managing organizational behavior includes both general and specific functions that must be performed by effective leaders. The specific approaches and techniques they use should reflect both the cultural specificity and the specific situation. The effectiveness of the modern manager is associated with style and influence tactics in the management of organizational behavior.

Today, businesses face significant challenges in retaining qualified personnel and ensuring satisfaction. Businesses may have difficulty retaining qualified staff if they cannot provide satisfactory work environments and help employees adapt to their jobs and workplaces. Especially the process of acclimating newly hired personnel to work and the workplace can be professionally challenging. In order to reduce the problems experienced during the recruitment process and ensure positive changes in the performance of employees, businesses need to attach importance to orientation training. Orientation training in the healthcare sector is of critical importance for the professional development of hospital employees and the quality of healthcare services. These trainings increase the reliability of healthcare services by ensuring that new employees learn hospital policies, procedures and patient safety standards. Additionally, by improving patient communication and empathy skills, it encourages employees to communicate more deeply and effectively with patients. While this increases patient satisfaction, it contributes to making treatment processes more efficient and increasing patient care quality standards. Orientation training also increases employees' job satisfaction, helps them adopt the corporate culture, and strengthens the collaborative working environment. In this context, orientation training in the healthcare sector not only accelerates the adaptation process of new employees to the institution, but also plays a vital role in improving the quality of healthcare services by positively affecting the overall performance of the institution and patient experience. In this study, the effect of orientation training on performance in health institutions is discussed. How orientation training works in institutions has been examined in general terms and the effect of this training on employee performance has been evaluated. This research conducted in the healthcare sector reveals that orientation training has a significant impact on the performance of hospital employees. Orientation training helps new employees learn hospital policies and patient safety standards and plays a role in increasing satisfaction by strengthening patient communication skills.
