People’s Republic of Poland and communist Romania never had close diplomatic relations. Both domestic and foreign policy led by Warsaw and Bucharest had little common points; economical ties were also not very developed. As members of Warsaw Pact and COMECON both countries maintained relations of „friendship”; but nothing more. After introducing martial law in Poland in December 1981 Jaruzelski visited all countries of Soviet Bloc. Romania was the last one; but the visit inaugurated the short period of warmer relations. This however quickly faded away. The article is based on diplomatic documents from both countries.

Reviewed are the non-predicative comparisons, in which the semblance have been expressed by a lexical unit in direct or metaphorical meaning, comparisons reminiscences and those, in which the comparison criterion is linguistically explicated. Attention is paid also to the predicative and to some mixed types of comparisons.

The publication presents possible approaches to learning that are addressed in the context of social and intensive technical changes in the last two decades. These approaches are oriented towards understanding learning as a creative process that is associated with the synthesis of information from different sources, rationalization of this information and to find new and modern ideas to use in different situations. In this context, draws attention to two important points in learning, motivation and the pursuit of knowledge. The first depends directly on the teaching methods of teacher/lecturer (as well as many other factors such as social and educational environment, for example), and the second is directly dependent on the chosen approach to learning.

Stanisіaw Moniuszko (1819-1872) is one of the most important Polish music figures after Chopin. Acknowledged as the father of the Polish opera he is also a revered author of hundreds of songs with piano accompaniment. Combining the Romantic Idiom with Polish folk music, Moniuszko reproduced, in musical forms, the brilliant lyrics of Adam Mickiewicz and numerous other talented Polish poets.The thesis of Mrs. Karaliyska-Trapkova is centered on the Polish poetry in the songs of Moniuszko. The author is analyzing the most impactful songs of the composer, explaining their genesis, and investigating their characteristics, thus making them easier to understand and interpret by young Bulgarian opera singers.
