The Journal of Jurisprudence and Legal Practice has been issued by the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University since 1993. It is a scientific juridical journal focused on publication of original scientific texts dealing with law and jurisprudence (section "Articles") and also with information on scholarly life and critiques. The journal is issued quarterly and all submitted texts are reviewed anonymously by two independent reviewers (double-blind peer review). The final decision about the publication of all papers is in the competence of the Editorial Board. The identity of the author is not disclosed to the members of the Editorial Board before the final decision.

Journal of Jurisprudence and Legal Practice is published quarterly as a peer-reviewed academic journal.

Journal of Jurisprudence and Legal Practice was added into ERIH+, Scopus, CEEOL, DOAJ index databases.  Texts are published with the permission of the authors for the subsequent dissemination of processed data in legal information systems ASPI, Beck-online and CODEXIS.

Journal of Jurisprudence and Legal Practice was added from volume XXVII/2019 to the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature SCOPUS.

Journal of Jurisprudence and Legal Practice is published quarterly as a peer-reviewed academic journal.

Masaryk University Journal of Law and Technology (ISSN on-line 1802-5951, ISSN printed 1802-5943) is a peer-reviewed academic journal which publishes original articles in the field of information and communication technology law. All submissions should deal with phenomena related to law in modern technologies (e.g. privacy and data protection, intellectual property, biotechnologies, cyber security and cyber warfare, energy law). We prefer submissions dealing with contemporary issues.
