Eastern European Journal of Transnational Relations

Eastern European Journal of Transnational Relations

Frequency: 2 issues / Country: Poland

The Eastern European Journal of Transnational Relations (EEJTR) is published at the Faculty of Law, University of Bialystok (Poland), located on the eastern border of the European Union and thus naturally serving as the EU’s window to the East. The EEJTR is devoted to the study of the politics, societies, economies and foreign relations of the Central and Eastern European countries (including post-Soviet states) and Western European countries with extension to the North America and possibility to build the academic transfer bridge over the Atlantic Ocean. Over the years, the cooperation between the states on both sides of the Atlantic has faced difficult moments, even crises, however the “synergy” of transatlantic relations is dominant. The Journal seeks submissions across a broad spectrum of topics. These include, but are not limited to: state-society relations, law, economics, elections, democratization, foreign policy, criminal justice, migration. Both theoretical and practical submissions are expected. The Journal is dedicated to publications from social sciences, as well as other or interdisciplinary fields, as long as they reflect the Journal’s mission. The Journal occasionally publishes reviews of the most important new books on the post-Soviet states and relations between Europe and America, but does not contain a regular book review section. The Journal is published by the Temida 2 Publishing House, based on the agreement under the Santander Universidades program.
