Founded in 2002, the Historical Series of the Annals of the "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Romania, publishes studies, articles, notes, debates, book reviews and bibliographical notes relative to different aspects of world, national and local history. The authors wishing to publish in our Journal will send their papers, in electronic format, to the editors' address, respecting the Guidelines. The quality control criteria for published papers are based on a peer-review procedure, similar to those used by prestigious international and Romanian journal. The evaluation is done by experts in history, members of the Scientific Board or collaborators of our Journal.

The Sociology Series of the Annals of the „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati (ISSN 1842-6492 – print; 2734-6765 - online) was founded in 2005, with an annual occurrence. The journal is a publication of the Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology, which appears under auspices of Galati University Press, University Publishing of „Dunarea de Jos" in Galati. In its quality of open access academic publication, the entire contents of the articles is available free to readers, in line with the objectives and purposes DOAJ (https://doaj.org/). Readers and users can read, download, copy, distribute or print the full text of articles published in this journal without having to ask permission from publishers or authors. Also, there are no fees or costs for authors who published or wish to publish in the journal.

The purpose of the publication is to provide a forum for scientific research and debate on a wide range of subjects related to social change and transformation in contemporary society. The journal explores social changes, cultural, economic and political conditions in different perspectives specific to the wider field of social sciences.

The journal publishes theoretical and field research studies, articles, essays, position papers, lecture notes, book reviews, and information about events relevant scientific and synthetic results of research projects.

The Annals of ”Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati. Legal Sciences. Fascicle XXVI (ALS) continues the tradition of our faculty in promoting and disseminating the results of scientific research and activities, with the purpose of actively integrating into the national and European community of legal journals. Edited by The Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Romania the journal aims at ensuring the national, European, and international dissemination of the topmost theoretical and applicative contributions in the field of legal sciences authored by teachers, researchers, practitioners or other free-lance contributors from Romania or abroad.

ALS provides the opportunity to publish the latest tendencies in national and foreign doctrinal analysis, analyzing the peculiarities of national law as compared to the legal systems abroad, impacting the following domains: national and international private law, European law, public law, international law, etc., in the wide context of today’s exigencies in point of human rights.  ALS is a blind peer-review journal. All submitted articles in this journal undergo peer review, based on internal editor screening and at least three anonymous referees.
