Summary/Abstract: Th is article aims to outline the impact of the assumptions of a circular economy on the implementation ofthe principle of sustainable development. To implement this research goal, it will be necessary to character-ize the principle of sustainable development, as well as explain the essence of the assumptions of the circulareconomy. Finally, the infl uence and interrelationships between both concepts will be discussed.
