Short Description
“Przegląd Orientalistyczny” (Polish Review of Oriental Studies) is one of the oldest Polish journals on Asia and Africa published by the Polskie Towarzystwo Orientalistyczne (Polish Society for Oriental Studies) which was established in 1922. The first issue of the journal was printed in 1949. Since then it has been one of the journals covering wide range of research articles in diverse disciplines of humanities dealing with Asia and Africa, such as: language studies and linguistics, literature studies, history, studies on cullture, history of religion and religions of Asia and Africa as well as political sciences. Until 2019 the articles were published solely in Polish; since 2019 the articles can be submitted in Polish or English.
