Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present the general characteristics of the Turkish literature so-called yeraltı edebiyatı (lit. ‘underground literature’) and its representatives, with particular emphasis on the work of Hakan Günday and with focus on the theme of transgression – crossing borders, pushing the boundaries in philosophical and cultural terms by Michel Foucault and Georges Bataille. This work is an attempt to show how the main protagonist of Hakana Günday’s novel More perform transgressive experiences.
