Journal abbreviation: PDAV

This journal focuses on studies in the history of research institutes, particularly the Czech Academy of Sciences and its predecessors. It presents texts on the life and work of leading scientists and scholars. It deals with the source base on the history of science, the selection, processing, presentation and utilization of institutional and personal archive fonds and collections, records management and editorial activities. It also deals with more general topics from archive-keeping, the history of science and scholarship, social reflections of science, science policies and the development of relations between university and non-university science within the broader international context.
