Short Description

Universitaria Publishing House was founded in 1992 as a specialized department of the University of Craiova and, since then, it has been an active participant in the students training process and a reliable partner for academic research, making its name through the quality and diversity of its books, with more than 5,000 printed titles. It owns 24 collections under which are edited and printed specialized works in human sciences, technical domains, courses and reference works in linguistics and philology, economics, law and philosophy, thus continually promoting general cultural and scientific values and also the values of our region, Oltenia.

 

The French department of the University of Craiova has been publishing the journal Annales de l’Université de Craiova. Série Langues et Littératures romanes annually, since 1997, and the articles, written in French, address language, literature, didactics and translation topics. All the papers are peer reviewed by at least two scholars or researchers with national or international visibility.
