Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author displays the collection of regulations that assign the obligations of public government bodies in new Croatian Right to Access Information Act. Regulations – contained in the 3rd part of the Act – are generally analysed and their low nomotechnic quality is shown. The difference between regulations public government bodies can be freed from as well as the regulations that do not contain such clause are revealed and discussed. Similarly, the author analyses the characteristics of inspectoral supervision that will be implemented on public government bodies. Special attention is put on the institute of information officer in the public government bodies; the author argues the attitude that the regulation of the General Public Administration Procedure Law is relevant for the conditions of the appointment of mentioned officers and that all key information about these officers must be publicly distributed. Finally, the results of the analysis are summarized.
