Summary/Abstract: The Helsinki Committee published its fourteenth annual report on the realization of human rights in Serbia in the context of political, economic and social developments. The report states that in this regard, no changes for the better were recorded in 2013 either; on the contrary, the economic and social situation indicates that the majority of citizens are increasingly endangered. Furthermore, when it comes to fundamental human rights, the situation is still worrisome, especially when it comes to minorities, especially the Roma, the LGTB population and other vulnerable groups, such as women, people with mental disorders, elderly citizens, and children. The Government's declarative determination to respect human rights did not yield concrete results. Meanwhile, the institutions of the system have collapsed even more.
