Summary/Abstract: The fifth issue of the newsletter on social entrepreneurship in Serbia, in which we presented the connection between social entrepreneurship and rural development. This issue of the newsletter abounds with examples of social enterprises, primarily social cooperatives focused on the development of rural areas with the intention of gaining insight into the spectrum of activities of these private joint initiatives, which encourage local economic development around the world.
