Summary/Abstract: In June, President Xi will visit our region again, which this time will probably also include Germany, Austria and Poland. Therefore, his current trip can be considered a confirmation of the rapidly developing Czech-Chinese cooperation, which will be further strengthened by memoranda in various sectors for a large volume of investment. This procedure coincides with Chinese activities in other countries, where Chinese companies are trying to make a strong marketing presentation of their economic plans. After the initial smaller investments, the so-called big bang follows. However, the actual implementation of these projects is often a long-term process that does not always end in success.
