Summary/Abstract: The European Union is in favor of implementing cohesion policy in the 2014-2020 budget period. predicted financial resources in the total amount of 351.8 billion euros. The candidate countries for EU membership are preparing for the implementation of this policy through negotiations in Chapter 22 - Regional policy and coordination of structural instruments. One of the key elements of the negotiations within this chapter is the institutional framework for managing the cohesion policy.
