Summary/Abstract: On 19 November, the European Commission (EC) adopted its “Strategy for offshore renewable energy. The document confirms the priority of climate neutrality and its subordination to subsequent sectors. The development of the offshore energy industry is to contribute not only to the protection of the climate, environment, and biodiversity but also as an impulse for the pandemic-hit economy.
