Summary/Abstract: The gastronomical lexicon is a definitive element in describing the wayof thinking of an ethnicity. Exactly like in any other case, the gastronomicalconcept of the Romanian people is strongly related to their moral element andnational specificity. The proverbs which belong to the gastronomical semantic fieldare numerous and of a big variety, enriching the treasury of the RomanianLanguage.
