Summary/Abstract: The author presents a teaching technique based on cross-language similarities and creates a catalogue of features combining both Polish and Bulgarian languages, as well as a catalogue of issues that might cause difficulties – interference errors and important differences between both languages – in terms of pronunciation, morphology and vocabulary. This may be due to the basis of a specialized Polish language teaching program for Bulgarian speakers, which would meet the demand for courses addressed to Slavic learners and support Polish language courses conducted in Bulgaria.
