Summary/Abstract: The objective of this report is to analyse the Bulgarian relation with the countries of the Western Balkans in the context of their prospective accession to the European Union. The analysis will focus particularly on Republic of North Macedonia due to its proximity and the significance of the Bulgarian opinion for the enlargement process in the Western Balkans. Authors divided the report on four parts placing the accent on the Bulgarian position on the subject matter.
