Summary/Abstract: Thinking of the EU as trapped in a relentless series of crises is no longer standard approach, but it turned out to be mental and public consensus. Crises are not just ‘the new normal’ for the Union, but its basis is already presumed to be disintegration dynamics that is almost symmetrical to the integration inertia of the latter decades.
