Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with Silesian macrotoponyms and microtoponyms that originate from the names of crops. These toponyms are part of the linguistic picture of the Silesian world, they show agriculture, pomiculture and horticulture methods and document the most frequently cultivated cereal plants (Jagielnica, Owiesno, Pszów), industrial plants (Chmieliska, Konopowiec, Lniszcze) and orchard plants (Gruszka, Jabłoniec, Za Trześnie). Some databases with names refer to specific times and events (Tabaczana Ścieżka), others are connected with the folk culture, natural medicine, agrarian rites, wedding customs, etc. In the light of these names, one can see the name creator and interpreter of the world, together with their point of view, conceptualization of the world and valuation.
