Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to present the rhetorical analysis of a biography of the current Hungarian prime minister, written by a Polish journalist and published in 2012. All the textual dimensions (inventio, compositio and elocutio) and extratextual (communicative, contextual, and con-situational) conditions of this biographical novel point at its epideictic, panegyrical, and even “hagiographic” nature, as it directly names or indirectly shares the value system of believers of“ sovereign democracy” desperate for a charismatic and autocratic ruler, who in Janke’s biography emerges as a specific figure of “a forward”, “the ruler of Orbanistan” or “Viktator.”
