Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the activities of workers of the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw, founded in 1808 as National General Archive, subsequently called Central Archives of the Polish Kingdom, Warsaw Central Archive of Historical Records of the Polish Kingdom, and the Warsaw Archives of Historical Records, which in 1945 were enlarged with the collections of the Archive of Historical Records, the Archive of Treasury and the Archive of the Public Education. The author shows how particular workers of the Archive, among others: Feliks J. Bentkowski, Adolf Pawiński, Teodor Wierzbowski, Józef J. Siemieński, Jadwiga Karwasińska, Adam Stebelski, Kazimierz Konarski, Irena Sułkowska-Kurasiowa, Józef Płocha, Franciszka Ramotowska contributed to development and popularization of its resources through numerous publications, conferences, courses, workshops and presentations. The article explores their main areas of activity, including publications which aimed at spreading knowledge of the Archive’s resources.
