Summary/Abstract: The article describes mechanisms of provoking one’s own killing. It discusses the different manifestations of this phenomenon: suicide by provoking police officers (suicide by cop) and provoking one’s own killing in the II C Woldenberg camp for Polish officers and in the Niederhagen concentration camp on the outskirts of Wewelsburg.
