Summary/Abstract: In the text selected opinions are analysed, that allow to reflect on the term of transcendence devoid of the remnants of the classic metaphysical thinking. In reference to the “aesthetic transcendence” of Adorno and to the analyses of Heidegger, the concepts of J.-F. Lyotard and J. Derrida were interpreted, by putting them into the context of asking for the subjectivity shaped through the aesthetic experience. It would be subjectivity that is constituted (as to the source) by the “outside”, by something that seems to be the excess, that goes beyond the intentional project of the consciousness.
