Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this text is to comment on the functions of the punishment in the novels „Ivan Kondarev“, „The Legend of Sibin“ and „Antichrist“ by Emilian Stanev. This implies clarifying the mechanisms in which the punishment proceedings are conducted, as well as the peculiarities of the attitude: power – punishment in the three works.
