Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the lexeme нанѣмь – a hapax of the Codex Suprasliensis. Its appearance is related to the theological interpretation and the reception of a quotation from Isaiah’s Old Testament prophecy. The study offers adjustments to the definitions of the word and its textual variations in the manuscripts found in the lexicographical repertories.
