Summary/Abstract: The problem of developing efficient and economical technologies to ensure reliable gas turbines is one of the most important tasks for the further development of gas turbines construction. In the industrialized countries, new technologies are being developed and improved in connection with gas turbine blades' protective coatings. Of interest are the coatings obtained from metallic and non-metallic materials by high-speed electron-beam evaporation and subsequent vacuum condensation. In this regard, the technological difficulties in cooling the blades and reached maximum in the development of metallurgy of heat-resistant alloys show that the improvement of the gas turbine engines (GTE) parameters should be sought in qualitatively new blade protection systems and the transition from traditional heat-resistant to heat-shielding coatings (HSC).
