Summary/Abstract: The report presents the results of the studies carried out in the electricity supply system of "Plastics Products" JSC - Sredets. Due to the presence of non-linear loads, commensurate with power with the power transformers, higher harmonics are generated in the company's power supply system. Loads are imposed by the used technological equipment for the production of plastic products. This mainly causes problems related to the inability to compensate for the power factor, to increase the electrical losses in the network and the other electrical equipment of the company, etc. The aim of the study is to quantify and qualitatively deal with the interference caused by the non-linear electrical charges and the causes of the compensating capacitor failure. Appropriate management measures are proposed to address emerging issues.
