Summary/Abstract: Cardiovascular diseases represent one of the leading public health challenges among older adults, significantly affecting physical and functional capacity, independence and overall quality of life. This study aims to analyze the roles of physiotherapy, family support, and community social support in preserving cardiovascular health and promoting active, healthy aging. The study is based on an analysis of relevant scientific and professional literature in physiotherapy, public health, and gerontology, with particular emphasis on preventive, educational, and rehabilitation programs for older people. The findings suggest that family support plays an important role in maintaining healthy lifestyle behaviors and adherence to preventive measures. At the same time, physiotherapy interventions improve functional capacity, cardiovascular endurance, and quality of life. Furthermore, community social support encourages active participation in social activities, reduces social isolation, and positively influences mental health and well-being. Limitations include the heterogeneity of the analyzed studies and the lack of longitudinal research. Future research should focus on integrated, multidisciplinary care models connecting families, healthcare professionals, and local communities to support cardiovascular disease prevention and active aging. Early identification of risk factors and timely implementation of physiotherapy and social support interventions may significantly reduce the burden of cardiovascular diseases in aging populations. These findings highlight the importance of implementing multidisciplinary, community-based interventions to enhance cardiovascular health and support active aging in older populations.
