Summary/Abstract: This review chapter investigates the impact of financial (in)security, access to health services, and social support on active aging among older people in the Republic of Croatia. The chapter’s theoretical framework is based on the concept of active aging, as defined by the World Health Organization, encompassing health, participation, and security to improve the quality of life of older people. The objectives of the chapter include analyzing the relationship between the above factors and the possibility of active inclusion of older people in society. Data was collected from literature published between 2010 and 2014, available in databases. The included sources were selected based on their relevance to the topic. The conclusions show a significant impact of financial (in)security, hindered access to health services, and weaker social support on the quality of life of older people and emphasize the importance of developing inclusive policies that promote financial security, improve health infrastructure, and strengthen social support networks.
